Westbank
The west bank remains under occupation since the 6-day war 1967. In response to a rise in suicide attacks during the second Intifada in 2000 the Israelis build a wall surrounding the enclave. According to the UN-general assembly, the construction of the wall violates international law as big Parts of it lie across the green line on Palestinian land. The continuing construction of settlements within the POT further complicates and fuels the conflict.
